Mmmmm, to be honest the concert was very boring; nothing musical happened! I don’t know exactly what went wrong but in the general rehearsal the overall mood was better. Pfff, this makes me very sad actually and I hope that the GSO will learn how to play together and to listen to each other very soon.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful.
Yesterday evening I went to Paddyfield with a group of friends to watch the Santa crawl. That was a nice sight; a large group of people all dressed up as Santa or something Christmassy. We didn’t join because we didn’t want to go bar hopping. Dressing up would have been no problem, hihi.
I’m enjoying my bike every day and I am so happy that I can cycle around town now without dying of heat exhaustion! I even cycled from work to Liwan (an area near Shamian island) to buy some presents for my friends. In Liwan I got to test my new sentence: “danche baoguanchu zai nali?”. That means: “where is the bicycle parking space with a guard to watch the bikes?” Hehe, you see; some things are not that complicated in Chinese I got directions but the guard told me to walk over there while pushing my bike. AHEM!!!! A bike is for cycling, not walking!!! So I told him kindly that I would cycle That’s what I did and there were no complaints.
